A collection of moral tales from ancient Indian folklore. Beautifully constructed in comic strip style, this book is very different from other folktale books.

Brightly colored, rich illustrations and almost-real characters convey the essence of India. Even the borders are effectively used to tell a story by themselves. The drawings flow free and are adorable. Jokes are interspersed and add to the uniqueness and variety.

I enjoyed the book and would like for it to be a permanent addition to my bookshelf.
